From the very beginnings of a project to the very end, every aspect goes through multiple levels of quality assurance.
Thomas Roofing’s team approach to management enables our quality assurance program to work seamlessly throughout each project.
The Quality Assurance program includes the following steps:
Estimates, proposals, and submittals are reviewed to ensure compliance with project requirements and the owner’s needs.
Material purchases are monitored to ensure they meet necessary requirements and are scheduled for a timely delivery. Our large warehouse enables us to store and protect materials preventing project delays and damaged materials.
The Foreman and the Superintendent are both trained and certified by the manufacturer of the system to be installed. They have complete packages of project requirements, including the proposal, submittals, detailed drawings, and material schedules. They are the first and second line of quality assurance for roof system installation. The Superintendent visits job sites daily and supports the Foreman’s role of ensuring all installation is correct.
The Project Manager is the third line of QA and visits job sites regularly to assist the Foreman and Superintendent.
The Vice President of Operations visits job sites on a regular basis and continually evaluates all aspects of the project quality and progress.
The manufacturer of the roof system inspects the project before issuing the warranty. A copy of the punch list, if needed, is delivered to the Vice President of Operations, who monitors and tracks necessary adjustments to the project.
The Project Manager reviews and packages all close-out documents and warranties before submitting to them to the owner.
The Vice President, Project Manager, Superintendent, and Foreman meet and review all jobs upon completion to discuss the overall execution of the project and to be sure that all aspects have met the Thomas Roofing standard
of excellence.
